Passionate about art, she has carried that essence with her since childhood—something intrinsic—because she has found her purpose through art, where her soul is happy. She enjoys painting immensely and is tireless; there are no time limits when she paints.
Her soul beats to the rhythm of art, a motor that propels her days and nights. Her heart vibrates to the rhythm of colors and shapes, influenced by masters like Jacanamijoy, Monet, Kandinsky, and Paul Klee.
These visionaries awakened artistic curiosity in her, opening doors to avant-garde movements such as surrealism, abstract expressionism, impressionism, and cubism.

“Yuruparí is the primordial force that creates the universe and gives life. In a few words, it is everything.”
How could we consider and understand that every living being carries within itself a trace of human essence?
How could we perceive the mutualistic bond between Human and Animal through their eyes?
Constanza Arévalo understands this mythical and ancestral connection.
Through her works, she takes us on a sensory journey through time and space; immersing us in the immensity of YURUPARÍ, traveling through jungles, rivers, plains, deserts, and skies.
Her work is expressed in impressionist, expressionist, and fauvist strokes, full of color and texture, subjectively showcasing the Human – Animal essence.
According to the cosmogony of the Makuna ethnic group of the Amazon, “All living beings have a human spiritual essence and are therefore regarded as people.”
This premise notably coincides with the artist’s proposal, who centers the development of her work on EYES and the expressive gaze of animals.
As she herself says: “Through the eyes, one can see what is invisible in human beings, the soul; the gaze is the most important and primitive form of communication.”
Due to this, her work uses eyes and the gaze as the central element. It is there that the thread of each piece emerges, each one revolving around the eyes and their deep spiritual meaning.
Yuruparí is a series in which the artist temporarily distances herself from her previous works; this subtle departure is not so much in technique, but rather in the detail of her work and the mythical and spiritual meaning of this series.
For this reason, the artist names this collection “Yuruparí,” which is not only a striking word but one that holds a transcendental meaning.
“Acquiring Constanza Arévalo’s pictorial works is an unmissable opportunity to capture the emotion and beauty of her creativity on every canvas.”
